A PIECE OF HI-STORY
In the interior we aimed to preserve the authentic elements (parquet floors, fireplace, wooden wall panels), combining them with minimalist Scandinavian influence.
We built the space that we would like to call our home and that meets the needs of student living.
Theatre Residence is a modern, shared living space in the heart of Riga, right next to the iconic New Riga Theatre.
It is located in a historic 19th century wooden building. The facade of the building was renovated in August 2019.

SHARED LIVING
Theatre Residence hosts 2 apartments of 160 square metres. All rooms are furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, reading lamp and can be securely closed with a key giving you some privacy. Spacious common areas provide plenty of room to hang out and are equipped with all the essentials for living.

OUR APARTMENTS
APARTMENT NO.2
APARTMENT NO.1
Apartment No. 1 is located on the second floor of the building. It is a 160 square metres large shared living space with 8 isolated bedrooms, living room with a kitchen equipped with an induction cooker, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 big fridges, pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. There is a wifi enabled 4K TV in the living room with a wide selection of apps, such as Netflix, YouTube, Spotify etc. There are 2 showers, 3 sinks, washing machine and dryer in the washroom and 2 separate toilets. We also provide a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
Apartment No. 2 is located on the third floor of the building. It also stretches over 160 square metres of space and hosts 7 isolated bedrooms. The living room and kitchen are fully equipped with an induction cooker, oven, kettle, toaster, 2 large fridges, pots and pans, dishes and cutlery. There is a wifi enabled 4K TV in the living room with a wide selection of TV channels and apps, such as Netflix, YouTube, Spotify etc. There are 2 showers, 3 sinks and a washing machine in the washroom, 2 separate toilets and a storage room with a laundry dryer. We have provided all essential household appliances, such as cleaning equipment, iron and ironing board and hair dryer.
All rooms in Apartment No.1 are furnished with a double bed with storage drawers, large wardrobe, desk, chair, a reading lamp and can be securely closed with a key. All rooms have big windows and plenty of natural light.
All rooms in Apartment No.2 are furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, a reading lamp and can be securely closed with a key. 4 rooms have a double bed and a larger wardrobe and 3 rooms are furnished with a single bed and a smaller wardrobe.

WHAT
WE OFFER
Short - term contracts.
No need to sign a year-long contract and pay for the months when you are not there or risk losing your security deposit.
Our tenants are mostly short-term international students who come to Riga for an exchange program for 1 or 2 semesters.
The minimum rent period is 1 September - 31 January or 1 February - 30 June. You can move in earlier or stay longer if you wish. Preference will be given to tenants who choose to rent for 2 semesters.
International household.
Your flatmates will be students like you from all over the world, who come to Riga to study for their degree or on an Erasmus exchange programme.
We aim to select people from as many different countries as possible to ensure that you will get a truly international experience, learn new languages and get to know other cultures. We try to avoid having one nationality prevailing for reasons of inclusion and better shared living experience.
Central location.
> Terbatas Street is one of the most popular promenades in Riga - great for shopping, eating and drinking out.
>10 minutes walking distance from the Old Town.
> Well connected to public transport links and a bike path.
Weekly cleaning of the common areas.
Even though you will be expected to upkeep your living space, you will not have to worry about scrubbing the shower, the kitchen sink or other nasty places, as our dedicated cleaning-lady will take care of them on a weekly basis.
Plan your budget with a peace of mind.
The fixed monthly rent price covers all costs: water, electricity, heating, internet, TV and weekly cleaning of the common areas.
There are no hidden costs, no agency fees.
Bedding.
If you did not bring your own bedding, you can rent a set from us. The bedding set includes a duvet, pillow, duvet cover, pillow cover, bedsheet and 1 towel. You yourself will be responsible for washing it as often as necessary.
Personal approach.
Theatre Residence is a family owned business. We have experience running international student accommodation since 2017.
We will treat you as a welcome guest in our home. We will make sure that your needs are met and that you feel at home. Having said this, you will not be bothered during your stay, unless you ask for assistance.
